Finally there was movement

When I started drawing and painting I was rather overwhelmed by all the material you can choose from. To keep it simple I began working in black and white: Pentel brush pens, Molotow markers and Indian ink on max. A3 size paper. I was happy but it still felt a bit restrained. I wanted to paint, not to draw! To get myself out of my comfort zone I bought the largest paper format I could possibly find: 1,5 x 10 meter. Finally there was movement! I literally had to move, and also I had to paint on the floor. With it came larger brushes, sponges and towels – even a mop sometime.
I still love black ink, and watercolor, both combined with crayons, colored and graphite pencils works well for me.

Next on my list: pastels.
