I’ve been busy creating plenty of drawings lately. I’ve come to realize that drawing doesn’t always have to be intricate or purposeful; sometimes it’s simply about connecting the dots or following a line with no particular intention other than enjoying the act of drawing itself. Placing shapes on the paper feels like arranging stepping stones in a serene rock garden, providing me with a sense of relaxation and inner peace.
I’m particularly thrilled that my drawings have been selected for the upcoming Tekenkabinet exhibition, which focuses on showcasing big drawing art in small formats.
Tekenkabinet will take place from April 12th to May 19th 2024.
